\maketitle
The Baire Category Theorem has given us a way to look at the behavior
of functions and the nature of sets. In particular, we will look at some
results by Andy Bruckner and colleagues on the intersection patterns of
continuous functions with lines, the iteration of continuous functions,
and some other interesting applications of the Baire Category Theorem. We
will make an effort to give examples where the Baire category theorem has
made results possible that would be difficult or impossible without it.
